The London Magazine is now open for short-story submissions -Short Story Prize 2018!
Over the curse of it’s history ,The London Magazine has published short stories by some notable writers from Sylvia Plath,Jean Rhys to V.s Prichett.The Magazine now seeks new voices to join the acclaimed writers.
The London Magazine was established ‘to encourage emerging literary talent’According to Magazine.The short-story prize provides an opportunity for publication and recognition and also rewards authenticity,originality and creativity .The Magazine is looking for previously unpublished literary woks of any genre from writers from around the globe.The maximum length should be 2,500 words and the closing date is 30th November 2018
Entry fee: £10 per short story
Student entry: £5 per story
Please Note:There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit.
First Prize: £500
Second Prize: £300
Third Prize: £200
Three awards will be give for three winning stories .The story that wins first place will be published in a future print edition of The London Magazine. The second and third place stories will be published on their website. Prize winners will also be invited to a reception in London in early 2019.
